Lost Energy Blocks are yellow marquis-shaped cores refined from pure energy, used for a Hidden Exploration Objective that involves powering up inactive Ruin Graders scattered all over Sumeru’s rainforests. You can find 20 Lost Energy blocks around the region, but only need 15 topower up all of the Ruin Gradersand get the Wonders of the World Achievement called In the Name of Anfortas.
Where to find all Lost Energy Blocks in Sumeru in Genshin Impact
Below are the locations of all Lost Energy Blocks in Sumeru, which you can collect in any order. There are 20 in total, but only 15 of them are usable for a Hidden Exploration Objective. Only 17 locations are marked below as there are four Lost Energy Blocks clustered in the area west of Port Ormos.
All Lost Energy Blocks can be found by investigating the sparkling spots near metal scraps in the locations above. Some Lost Energy Blocks are located above ground, while others are underground—read on for a detailed breakdown of exactly where to find these Quest Items.
Vimara Village (above ground)
Head to the area circled in the image above via the Teleport Waypoint on the right, and climb the giant screw-like structure. Interact with the sparkling spot to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find an inactive Ruin Grader with a sparkling spot beside it. Interact with the sparkling spot to obtain one Lost Energy Block.
Vimara Village (underground)
To find the next Lost Energy Block, you need to head to the underground cave in Vimara Village. If you’re unsure how to get there, head to the area circled in the image above and enter theVamadhato find the underground cave.
Glide toward the giant metal scrap at the center of the clearing to find a sparkling spot. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.

Port Ormos (above ground)
Head to the area circled in the image above via the northern Teleport Waypoint. You’ll find an Eremite camp and four sparkling spots that you must investigate to get four Lost Energy Blocks. There’sone on the gearon the right,one in the carton the left, andtwo in the tentin the middle.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a sparkling spot in front of some metal scraps. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
Devantaka Mountain (south - above ground)
Head to the area circled in the image above using the Teleport Waypoint southeast of Devantaka Mountain. Don’t use the nearer Waypoint as it will take you underground. Glide down the giant Ruin Golem to find a gear with a sparkling spot, which you must investigate to get a Lost Energy Block.
Devantaka Mountain (south - underground)
Head to the area circled in the image above, locatedunderneath Devantaka Mountain. You can head there through the northwest Teleport Waypoint. Don’t use the nearer one as it will take you above ground.
Devantaka Mountain (north - underground)
Head to the Teleport Waypointnorth of Devantaka Mountainandlook behind youto find an entrance leading to an underground area.
Upon entering the cave, you’ll immediately spot a sparkling spot inside a gear by the entrance. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
From the cave entrance, plunge down to find another sparkling spot inside a gear on the right. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.

Devantaka Mountain (north - above ground)
Head to the Teleport Waypoint north of Devantaka Mountain and circle around the areas below to find the Lost Energy Blocks.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a sparkling spot inside a gear. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a sparkling spot on a giant nail, which is situated near some Hilichurls. Interact with it to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a giant gear embedded in the ground. At the foot of the gear, you’ll find a sparkling spot that you must interact with to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a barrel. Head inside to find a sparkling spot that you must interact with to obtain a Lost Energy Block.
