Destiny 2’sLightfallis set to be one of the biggest expansions in the sci-fi shooter. Bungie has only revealed a small portion of what Crucible fans can expect in Lightfall. This includes new game modes and a new way to play Destiny 2’s PvP. Here are all the new Destiny 2 Lightfall Crucible modes.

Destiny 2’s Lightfall will see the return ofCountdown, as well as a new respawn variant calledCountdown Rush. In this mode, players are tasked with detonating or defusing bombs, depending on their team, before the round ends.
In addition to these mods, Bungie is implementing a new feature calledCrucible Labs. This includesCheckmate Control, where the player sandbox, weapon damage, ability uptime, and ammo are all adjusted. This mode has been designed to encourage players to rely on their skills and tactics, not just the game’s mechanics.
Bungie has more plans for Crucible, but this is all the information they have shared for new. Bungie remains committed to giving Crucible more content, so fans of the PvP should keep their eyes set on the future of Destiny 2 in 2023.
