Paradox Pokémon are either future or past versions of many Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet’s Pokédex. You can capture them in Area Zero later in the game. Can I shiny hunt Paradox Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet?

Since Paradox Pokémon can naturally be encountered in the “wild,” they’renot shiny locked. There will always be a 1/4096 chance of seeing a shiny Paradox Pokémon. You can even eat sandwiches outside Area Zero and keep the shiny encounter boosting effects when you enter.

The hunt will be harder since there aren’t any mass outbreaks for them. Thus, we recommend you wait until you have theShiny Charmbefore you attempt to shiny hunt Paradox Pokémon.
