It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Or, at least it will be, come July 28, 2025. What began as a datamine leak in the wee hours of the morning turned into confirmed truth from Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla publishers Bungie and Ubisoft.
The crossover was confirmed in a tweet from theofficial Bungie Twitter account. This isn’t the first collaboration that Destiny 2 has had with other franchises. In months past, it dropped into Fortnite and Fall guys, each with three skins. So, while this Assassin’s Creed collaboration has appeared like an assassin in the night, it’s beginning to set a precedent for Bungie to open up its sci-fi shooter to more crossovers.

The Destiny 2 side of things is getting three skins, one for each of its classes. Titans appear to be going the Nordic Viking look, Hunters are getting the Mediterranean garb, and Warlocks are dressing up in classic middle-eastern attire. Also coming are a new ship, sparrow, and Ghost shell inspired by a Piece of Eden.
