Savathûn’s Throne World is filled with its own mysteries and secrets. However, it shares a secret with every other destination in Destiny 2, Lost Sectors. The Throne World has three of these Lost Sectors scattered around its map. In this guide, we will go over where to find the Extraction Lost Sector and how to complete it.
Where to find the Extraction Lost Sector in Destiny 2
The first step to overcoming a Lost Sector is finding its entrance. This Lost Sector is locatedon a cliff face in the Quagmire. These entrances are marked with the same Lost Sector symbol that is used to highlight them on the map. Still, the entrance can be a little tricky to find. We recommend you use the images above to help you pinpoint the entrance if you are struggling to find it.
For this entrance to be accessible, you will need tointeract with the Deepsight Orblocated right near the Lost Sector logo. Doing this will reveal a platform over the edge of the cliff that allows you to make your way around into the Lost Sector.

How to complete the Extraction Lost Sector
Once you find your way down into the Extraction Lost Sector, you will encounterScorn enemies in the first room. All you have to do is make short work of these foes to remove a barrier over the corridor to the next room.Once all Scorn enemies are defeated, proceed onto the second room.
The Extraction Lost Sector’ssecond roomis quite large and featuresboth Scorn and Lucent Hivefoes. to clear this room and proceed onwards, you will need to take off three locks blocking your path. Thesethree locks are destroyed by capturing three separate pointsin this room. Use the image above to locate these points. Each time you begin to capture a point enemies will spawn to try and stop you, so we recommend you only take one point at a time.
Finally, you will find yourself in thefinal roomof the Lost Sector. The Boss—Hathrek, The Glasweard—is simple enough to defeat, with its attacks matching those of a Hive Witch. We were able to take it down with just a pop of our Super. However, this boss is a Lightbearer, so you will need to destroy their Ghost to fully defeat them. Defeating Hathrek will allow you to open the orange Cache on the platform in the back of the room.
So there you have it, which is where to find and complete the Extraction Lost Sector. While completing this Lost Sector on its own doesn’t often prove too fruitful, completing it when it is a Legendary or Master Lost Sector will award you with some great gear.
