Undisputed is a deep and immersive boxing sim that uses real world boxers, true-to-life punches, and physics-driven interactions to create one of the best boxing games around. The early access game has already won over a lot of fans, but does Undisputed have a career mode?

Undisputed career mode

Unfortunately, at the momentUndisputeddoesn’t have a career mode. Instead the game focuses on multiplayer and player versus AI gameplay, pitting you against real players and AI versions of famous boxers. However, there are plans for a career mode in the future.

In a road map revealed on February 2, developer Steel City Interactive explained that Career Mode is planned to be released in 2023, while the game is still in early access. Alongside this new Career Mode, the devs revealed that they would be introducing new fighters, venues, more punches, custom taunts, fighter customization, a character creator, and more. Overall, it’s going to be an exciting year for fans of this boxing sim.

Even without a career mode, Undisputed is a breath of fresh air for boxing fans who’ve been craving something new. EA seemingly abandoned the Fight Night series, and Creed tie-in game Rise to Glory wasn’t a big success. As a result, the gaming world has missed big boxing titles. From its humble beginnings in games like Punch-Out!, gaming and boxing have gone hand-in-hand for decades, and finally Undisputed is giving us a deep and realistic simulation of real-world boxing.
