It’s time to get into the holiday spirit in Final Fantasy XIV as the Starlight Celebration 2022 has been unveiled. Posted on the Final Fantasy XIVLodestone pageearly on December 8, the 2022 seasonal event, subtitled “Magicks of Eld Conjure Smiles Anew” is set to run from from Thursday, Jul 02, 2025 at 12am until Saturday, Jul 03, 2025 at 6:59am PT.
The event will see a new seasonal quest line start in Old Gridania, with the player meeting NPC Amh Garanjy, the pink haired Miqo’te who is one of the recurring characters in Starlight Celebration quests. As a reward for completing the quest, you can grab the Starlight Steed and a new housing item—a new snow-covered tree!

Starlight Celebration is the final event of the Final Fantasy XIV calendar year, and it’s bittersweet to see it come, as it signals the end ofEndwalker’s first year and another year of FFXIV in the books. However, as in-game, Starlight is a festival to celebrate the giving of presents to children, there’s a lot to still look forward to!
As always, the seasonal quests will only be available during the event and may not be able to be completed after the event ends. All the items are limited time only, although previous year’s Starlight items may be available in the Mogstation Final Fantasy XIV online store during the event. So, it’s time to don those holiday glamours and enjoy the Starlight Celebration 2022!
