Genshin Impact’s Version 3.4 Lantern Rite event, The Exquisite Night Chimes, runs fromJanuary 19,2023,to February 6,2023, bringing a new wave of attractions and memories beneath Liyue’s festive skies. During the event, you can participate in a plethora of activities to get amazing rewards, including a new mini-game called Paper Theater.
After completing the first three scenes inThe Valiant Hero: Homecoming, you may unlock the next part of the play called Across the Mountains.
How to complete Paper Theater Across the Mountains Scenes in Genshin Impact
The Valiant Hero: Across the Mountains includes a tougher stage as you now have to work with six segments. Refer to the image above for the segment numbering system we use in this guide. For the following scenes, you need toact fast, as you need to move the segments once the character reaches specific positions to solve the puzzle.
Across the Mountains: Scene I puzzle solution
Start by switching the positions ofsegment one and segment fourso that the character is on the top layer.
While the character isstill in the first segment, quickly switch the positions ofsegment two and segment four. This will place the segment with a broken platform in the middle of the top layer.
As soon as thecharacter walks to the second segment, you must immediately click on the scene to pause it, preventing him from falling. Then switch the positions of the second segment and third segment, allowing the character to fall to the sixth segment, where he can claim the Chest and complete the scene.

Across the Mountains: Scene II puzzle solution
While the character is still in the first segment, switch the positions ofsegment one and segment three. The character should now be at the rightmost part of the top layer.
Wait until the characterwalks to the second segment. There’s only a small space where he can walk before being barred by an obstacle. So as soon as he’s in the second segment, immediately switch the positions ofsegments one and threeagain.
For the next step, you must act quickly. As soon as the characterwalks to the third segment, immediately switch the positions ofsegments one and three. This will allow the character to fall to the platform with a Chest, completing the scene.

Across the Mountains: Scene III puzzle solution
Upon starting, switch the positions ofsegments four and five. The character should now be in segment five.
While the character isstill in segment five, quickly change the positions ofsegment one and segment four. By doing so, the broken platform will be at the leftmost side of the bottom layer.
As soon as the characterwalks to segment four, immediately switch the positions ofsegments three and four. You must do this quickly so that the character doesn’t fall out of the play, which will cause a game over. When you successfully move him to segment three, he’ll fall to the Chest and complete the scene.
