During the event, you’re able to participate in a plethora of activities to get amazing rewards, including a new mini-game called Paper Theater.
After completing the first three scenes inThe Valiant Hero: Homecoming,The Valiant Hero: Across the Mountains, andThe Valiant Hero: Over Peaks, you can unlock the final part of the play called Adeptus Ex.
How to complete Paper Theater Adeptus Ex Scenes in Genshin Impact
Adeptus Ex contains six segments. Refer to the image above for the segment numbering system we use in this guide. This stage will also include wind currents and buttons that can break or repair platforms. Don’t forget that you canclick on a segment to pause it.
Adeptus Ex: Scene I puzzle solution
Immediately switch the positions of segments one and three when starting the scene.
While the character is still in segment three, quickly switch the positions ofsegments two and four.
Once the character walks toward segment two, immediately switch the positions ofsegments two and three. The character must fall to segment six, where he will claim the key.
Quickly switch the positions ofsegments one and fiveas well. Once the character falls to segment six and claims the key, this layout will allow him direct access to the door, completing the scene.

Adeptus Ex: Scene II puzzle solution
Upon starting,wait for the character to enter segment two, step on the button, and immediately switch the positions ofsegments two and six. Then click on segment six to pause it.
Quickly switch the positions ofsegments two and fivebefore the character clicks the button. Pause the scene. You need to do the next two steps very quickly.
Wait until thecharacter is facing left, then immediately switch the positions ofsegments four and six. Pause the scene to prepare for the next step.
As soon as thecharacter faces right, quickly switch the positions ofsegments two and four. This will allow the character to fall to segment five, where he can claim the key.
As soon as he claims the key, change the positions ofsegments two and five. Once the character falls to the ground, this path will allow him to head straight to the door, completing the scene.

Adeptus Ex: Scene III puzzle solution
Wait until thecharacter moves to segment five, then immediately switch the positions ofsegments one and five.
While the character is still facing right, switch the positions ofsegments four and five. Wait and watch the character jump down to the bottom layer and step on the button.
As soon as thecharacter is in segment six(facing any direction), switch the positions ofsegments four and five.
As soon as thecharacter steps onto segment five, click to pause. Then switch the positions ofsegments one and five. Then immediately pause again—the next step requires you to act fast.
While the character is still standing on the platform facing left, quickly switch the positions ofsegments four and six. This will allow the character to fall into the frame with the key and vase.
Next, switch the positions ofsegments four and six.
Wait for the character to face left and walk towardsegment five. Once he’s in there, switch the positions ofsegments one and five.
As soon as the character changes directions and isfacing right, switch the positions ofsegments one and two. This will form a direct path to the NPC on the right.
