Have you ever gotten a Hero Augment that you weren’t looking for? All it does is mess up your strategy by giving you an augment that doesn’t really fit your comp. TFT developer Mort acknowledged that. Therefore, he shared how the Hero Augments are going through a big makeover in TFT patch 13.3.

TFT patch 13.3 makes Hero Augments better

Every champion in TFT Set 8 has two variants of Hero Augments. One is a support variant, while one is the carry. This forces players into scenarios where they just have to be forced to go with a team that they never planned to go with.

(1/3) In 13.3, we’re making a big change to Hero Augments, and you’ll get 4 rerolls. We’re making this change because we’ve heard how, for a lot of you, you only have so much time to play TFT, and getting to play something you enjoy is important for having fun with the game.pic.twitter.com/xfWPYFCSrj

In order to make it more flexible for players, Mort went on Twitter to share that in patch 13.3, players will getfour rerollsfor Hero Augments. These rerolls areonly going to bespent on Hero Augments. They will not be counted towards the other regular augments. This means that you can spin through the selection of15 different Hero Augmentswith the ease of knowing that your spins are not counted towards the rerolls ofregular augments that you will get to choose.

(3/3) 2-1 Hero augments will still be full random, but you should get a lot of things to choose from now.3-2/4-2 Hero augments will still be tailored, so its extremely likely to hit what you are looking for. This also means you don’t need to weaken your board.Have fun!pic.twitter.com/8hIxYpqx0n

He goes on to say that the Hero Augments you get at the start of the game will still be completely random, but that’s fine because, with patch 13.3, you have a lot more options to start your game with. This makes room for a game with more flexibility for the player.

Teamfight Tactics patch 13.3 is set to be released on February 8. It most likely will bring other changes with it, but as of now, this is all Mort has shared about it.
