The Psychic Gym Leader of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Tulip, is found in Alfornada. She is the seventh recommended Gym Leader of the game. As such, players should get their Pokémon up to at least level 45 for the fight. Psychic Pokémon are weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark, but Tulip has some Dual Type Pokémon that cover her weaknesses. This is everything players need to know about the Psychic Gym Leader in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
How to beat the Psychic Gym Leader Tulip in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s Psychic Gym Leader, Tulip, can be found in Alfornada. It is highly recommended to have already beaten Ryme, theGhost Gym Leader, by this point in the game because Pokémon are lower level than Tulip’s. Psychic Type Moves are strong against Fighting and Poison Type Pokémon, so it would be best to leave Pokémon of that Type in the Box. All Tulip’s Pokémon have high Special Attack and utilize Special Moves apart from her lead, making Pokémon with high Special Defense a good counter. This is Tulip’s team and all their moves:

The biggest threat on the team is the Florges because it has a very high Special Defense stat with enough Special Attack to deal lots of damage. Hitting this Pokémon with a Physical move from a Pokémon with a high Attack stat will bring it down quickly. Because only Gardevoir and Florges have Fairy Type moves, bringing a Dark Type to the fight is a good strategy as both Farigiraf and Espathra don’t have great movesets to deal with. Farigiraf can use Reflect to halve the damage of Physical Moves for five turns, so taking it out quickly or stalling those turns out is wise when bringing a Pokémon with a high Attack stat. A Steel Type Pokémon can barely be dealt damage by the team and is the best Type to bring for the fight.
