Hogwarts is full of mysteries, puzzles, secrets, and magical experiences. Many of these are original to the game, but some come from theHarry Potterbooks and films. One that fans may be wondering about is the Chamber of Secrets, home to the deadly Basilisk. This leaves the question of where to find the Chamber of Secrets and Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy.
Can you go to the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy?
Sadly, the Chamber of Secrets isnot accessible in Hogwarts Legacy. You can go to theentranceof the secret hiding place of the Basilisk, but you cannot go further as there is no way to learn Parseltongue or be a descendant of Salazar Slytherin.
There is an easter egg when inspecting the faucet, called theSlytherin Sink, where someone has carved an emblem of a snake. You can also cast theRevelio spellhere to find a Field Guide Page. Is the Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy?
Despite your inability to visit the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy, you’re able to find the Basilisk. However, onlySlytherin studentswill be able to find thiseaster egg. We don’t know yet what triggers this easter egg, but Hogwarts Legacy playerCastielJAdiscovered it and took it to Twitter to share it.

In the video, you can see the Basilisk, or a very large snake, slithering through a hallway in theSlytherin dormitory. While the method to find this isn’t known, it appears that you must at least be in the Slytherin dormitoryat nightfor it to trigger.
