Both Magnemite and Magneton are two of the most recognizable electric-type Pokémon across every installment within the Pokémon franchise. The two were featured as part of the first generation and have been a staple of the series ever since. In fact, they even received another evolutionary form when the fourth generation came out named Magnezone. Magnezone can be easily evolved from Magneton, but it does take a little bit of know-how. So, how can you evolve Magneton into Magnezone in the latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

How to get Magnezone in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

First off, you’ll need to have a Magnemite on your team to evolve from. Acquiring one in eitherEast Province (Area Two)orEast Province (Area Three)would be your best option. Once you’ve done that, you need to level up your Magnemite to level 30. This will then prompt its evolution into Magneton, putting you one step closer to having your very own Magnezone. Lastly, you will need to ensure that you have aThunder Stonein your Bag.

Thunder Stones are scattered throughout the region of Paldea as well as available in Delibird Presents locations for either 3,000 Pokédollars or LP. You will simply need toapply the stone to Magnetonthe same way you would toEevee to evolve it into Jolteon. Once all is said and done, you’ll have a Magnezone both in your party and added to your Pokédex.
