The evolutionary trio of Goomy, Sliggoo, and Goodra return in the most recent installment of the monster-catching franchise, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The evolutionary line is a little gross as they are all covered in a film of mucus, but they are known to be very strong dragon types. Once you have a Goomy, getting it to evolve into a Sliggoo is easy since all you need to do islevel them up to level 40.
If you already have a Sliggoo, and you’re looking to evolve them into a Goodra, then you need tolevel them up to level 50. Unfortunately, that isn’t the only thing you need to do if you want to add Goodra to your Pokédex.

When you’re leveling up your Sliggoo from 49 to 50, you need to verify that the weather conditions are just right. It needs to be raining around you if you are expecting a Goodra. Players have no control over when it rains, so this particular step is usually the hardest. In our experience, the weather tends to change pretty drastically. Paired with the uncertainty of how many Pokémon you’re going to encounter or if you’ll level up just as it is raining, it is best to simplyuse a Rare Candy.
When you encounter rain and you have a Sliggoo who is at level 49, applying a Rare Candy will immediately add that additional level. Since the circumstances are right, a cutscene will then appear in which Goodra is added to your party. Ensuring that yourGoomy has the naturethat you want from the get-go is important because you cannot change this as you go through the evolutionary process.
