The Dawning has returned and that means Guardians will be all over the system in Destiny 2, farming ingredients for themany different recipes. One such ingredient, used in a handful of said recipes, is Perfect Taste. If you’re looking for that exquisite baked treat, then odds are you’ll need this elusive ingredient.
Where to find Perfect Taste ingredient in Destiny 2
The Perfect Taste ingredient is gained bykilling opponents with precision damage. To accomplish this, we recommend semi-automatic weapons like scout rifles, pulse rifles, and hand cannons. These hit hard and the recoil is far more controllable/predictable than weapons like SMGs and auto rifles. Usually, headshots are the way to go when it comes to precision kills. A few notable exceptions are the headless Scorn whose swinging lantern is the crit spot and Vex whose juice box is in their abdomen. Note that not every enemy has a crit spot, like the Fallen shanks.

Nabbing Perfect Taste should be fairly easy so long as a Guardian is lining up their shots. As for farming it? We simply recommend playing whatever activities you normally would and focusing on those headshots. Of course, this would exclude activities like Trials and Crucible as they’re not as target-rich and headshots will be considerably harder to pull off.
