The Extra Tank upgrade can take a bit to unlock since players need to first get ahold of theRock SlimesandResource Harvesterbefore they can get to this upgrade. Players also need to grab enoughNewbucks, though they are much easier to come by.

The Extra Tank upgrade gives players an additional Tank on their general-purpose vac. This is extremely useful and will allow players to carry more items as they explore Rainbow Island.

Where to Unlock upgrades in Slime Rancher 2
To get the chance to unlock upgrades, players first need to locate theFabricator. This machine is located in the underground Lab. This area can be found by heading down the darkened staircase shown in the picture above. It is to the left of the Plort Marketplace.
