How to craft the Bantam Train in FFXIV

The Bantam Train is a Level 90 master recipe for the Armorer. To craft it, you’ll need to have purchased and learned the Master Recipes X for the Armorer. Additionally, you’ll need a Craftsmanship Rating of around 3700. This means, at minimum, the Pactmaker’s Item Level 590 crafting gear with materia melded. The recipe is listed below:

The Bantam Train is also tradable and marketable, so it could potentially be found on the Market Board. However, due to its difficulty in crafting and rare materials it’s likely to be very expensive for the foreseeable future.

How to obtain Ominous Plating in FFXIV

One particularly hard-to-obtain part of this recipe is the Ominous Plating. This material is only obtainable as a rare drop from treasure chests found using Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Maps and withinThe Shifting Gymnasion Agonon. As a rare drop, you’ll likely have to find multiple maps, and there’s only a small chance of obtaining this item. Ominous Plating is also tradable and marketable and can occasionally be found on the Market Board for several million gil.
