It’s a prehistoric mammoth made out of lava. World of Warcraft has some inspired mount designs, and the Dragonflight expansion keeps that train rolling. Sure, we got mammoths in Wrath of the Lich King, but that hardly compares to what this big guy is.
Where to get the lava mammoth mount in WoW Dragonflight
The Raging Magmammoth mount is earned once players complete theGlory of the Vault Raiderachievement. This requires players to complete eight different achievements in the Vault of the Incarnates raid.

Dragonflight is a conflicting expansion when it comes to mounts. There are only four dragonriding mounts like theHighland Drake, and dragonriding is only applicable in the Dragon Isles. Normal flying mounts don’t work there but works everywhere else. Finally, a lot of reward mounts are ground mounts and simply aren’t used unless they have a utility like a vendor. The rule of cool can cover a lot, but this mammoth is pushing it.
