Surprisingly, for how cool the Stormhide Salamanther looks, the effort to obtain it is rather minimal. There is only one requirement need to get it, and it is purchased from a vendor, making the need for luck a non-factor:
Elemental Overflow is a 100% drop rate item from all enemies inside a Primal Storm. Enemies that drop the currency always drop it in quantity, meaning the farming process for getting Elemental Overflow is simplistic. 2000x of the currency is a lot, and it may take a bit of time to gather it, but it’s guaranteed, something that cannot always be said about many other mounts in Dragonflight.
Once you’ve collected 2000x Elemental Overflow, head to Valdrakken and speak withApprentice Primal Researcher Mythressa. Mythressa can be found on the northeastern outskirts of the Obsidian Enclave. Exchange the overflow, and enjoy your new sparkly mount!
