Is the Radar accurate in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

The Pokéradar is only accurate in terms of the Pokémon’sgeneral area. The Radar never indicates the exact location of the Pokémon you’re looking for. Plus, you need toZoomthe map to get an “accurate” reading. Open your map with Y and tilt the R stick forward.

For example, observe how Tadbulb’s icon is on the river while Dunsparce’s is on land. This means that while both are nearby, you will only find Tadbulb on the water or very close to it.
