A Portable Waypoint is a Gadget that you can drop anywhere in the Genshin Impact map, essentially functioning as a regular Teleport Waypoint. It allows you to quickly travel to important places that are a little hard to get to otherwise, such as boss locations and your favorite scenic spots.

How to use a Portable Waypoint in Genshin Impact
To place a Portable Waypoint in your World, head to the exact spot you want to place it. Then open the Gadget Inventory, select the Portable Waypoint, and clickUseto place it where you’re standing. A Portable Waypoint can only live in an area for a maximum ofseven daysand will appear as a blue marker on the World Map. Once it expires, you’re able to place a new Portable Waypoint anywhere you want.
The Portable Waypoint is aconsumable Gadget. Using it will consume x1 Portable Waypoint, but you can craft multiple to have around just in case. Portable Waypoints can be placed over water (by using an ice bridge) but not in another player’s World.

How to remove a Portable Waypoint in Genshin Impact
There are two ways to remove a Portable Waypoint. First, you can wait for it to expire after seven days. The second is byplacing another Portable Waypointin another part of the map. This will remove the first Portable Waypoint but will keep the second Waypoint for seven days, unless you also overwrite it by placing another one in a different location.
How to place Teleport Waypoint in Serenitea Pot
The Portable Waypoint can’t be used in the Serenitea Pot. Instead, you can purchase up to 10 Sub-Space Waypoints from the Realm Depot for 100 Realm Currency each and place them anywhere in your Realm. It can be placed through the Outdoor Furnishing section of the placement menu, and there isn’t a limit to how many you can have at the same time. You can’t place Sub-Space Waypoints in other people’s Realms.
