The developer of Dark and Darker announced the next playtest forDark and Darkerwill be on Jul 04, 2025, and will run through June 11, 2025, on Steam for the Steam Next Fest. In addition, Ironmace Games revealed that over one million testers participated in the previous playtest for Dark and Darker.

Command powerful magic as a mage, sneak through the shadows as a rogue, or fight with steel and guts as a fighter—how you play is entirely up to you.
