Every new generation of Pokémon games gets two box art legendaries. And in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, that’sKoraidonandMiraidon. When choosing which version of the game to get, its exclusive boxart legendary is usually one of the biggest factors that will lead to your choice. So, which legendary should you side with: Koraidon or Miraidon?
Koraidon vs. Miraidon - Which should you get?
In terms of the number of typing strengths/weaknesses and distribution of stats, both Koraidon and Miraidonare similar. Koraidon just has a higher Attack, which makes it good for physical moves, and Miraidon has a higher Sp. Atk, which is the stat special moves are concerned about. As such, the “better” legendary, in our opinion, is entirely dependent ondesign.
Here’s a breakdown of both of these legendaries’ strengths and weaknesses, given their typings:

Both Fighting and Electric typing have their own advantages. Fighting-type moves are super effective against as many types, and it is not very effective against others. Meanwhile, Electric-type moves are only super effective against two but have better coverage. Unless you use it against an Electric, Grass, Dragon, or Ground type, it’ll deal the normal amount of damage.
Can you get both Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
According to the game version you get, Koraidon or Miraidon can be captured. You’ll still see the other legendary in the game, but you won’t be able to throw a Pokéball at it.
