The Tears of ThemisBlizzardous Threads of Red eventruns fromJanuary 12,2023,to February 2,2023, and is open to all attorneys who have completed the X-Note Main Story 2-28. After completing the event tutorial, you’ll be able toexplore theVilla Courtyard, which consists of various buildings, including the elusive Ink Study. Within the Ink Study are four rooms where you must collect Artifacts and solve puzzles to find your way out.
All Ink Study puzzle solutions in the Tears of Themis Blizzardous Threads of Red event
The Ink Study consists of four rooms that need to be completed in order. Upon entering each room, we highly recommendinteracting with all objects, as these will give you clues to solve the puzzles. Even if you have the puzzle solution, youcan’t trigger the puzzles themselves without getting the clues first. If you missed anything, you can go back to a previous room but will have to collect all clues again.
Fengya room puzzle solutions
The first room is called Fengya.Interact with all objects to obtain clues. Once you’ve interacted with everything, make sure to interact with the objects circled above:
Fluorite puzzle
You need topick the genuine fluoritebased on the clues you collected. They are presented at random, but you can rotate the fluorite to look for the following characteristics:
Selecting the correct one will reward you with the Artifact calledLuminous Pearl.
Mechanical lock puzzle
Next, interact with the glass case to the left of Rosa’s side. Then interact with the bookshelf to trigger the Mechanical Lock puzzle. You need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color.Hold and draguntil you’ve created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact paths you can use.
Jade Plate puzzle
Next, switch to the male lead’s side and interact with the painting on the left to trigger the Jade Plate puzzle. You need to rotate each segment so that the red lines create a path for the pearl to travel to the center.
When you rotate an outer plate, the inner one will rotate as well, so follow the order prescribed in the image above when rotating:
Thepattern of the red linesneeds to match the image above as well. When you’re done, the pearl will travel to the center, completing the puzzle.
Lock Password
Finally, interact with the door on the male lead’s side. Input this password to unlock it:1565.
You’ll automatically exit Fengya room and unlock the next one. If you missed anything, you may come back at any time, but don’t forget to interact with all clues again.

Qiankun room puzzle solutions
The second room is called Qiankun. In this room, it’s especially important that youinteract with all objects to obtain clues. Additionally, ensure tofollow the order below(puzzle > collectible > lock) to avoid confusion.
Mechanical Lock puzzle #1
Interact with the vases to the left of Rosa’s side to trigger a Mechanical Lock puzzle. You need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color.Hold and draguntil you’ve created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact path you’re able to use.
Mechanical Lock puzzle #2
Switch to the male lead’s side and head right. Interact with the ink table to trigger a second Mechanical Lock puzzle. You need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color.Hold and draguntil you’ve created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact path you can use.
Silk Pouch location
Do this partafter solving the Mechanical Lock puzzles above.
Switch to Rosa’s side and head right, where you’ll find that one of the gates blocking the path has disappeared. That will allow you to move forward, revealing a hallway with a display at the end.Interact with the displayto get aSilk Pouch.
Yang Fish Pendant location
Switch to the male lead’s side and head left, where you’ll find that one of the gates blocking the path has disappeared. That will allow you to move downward, revealing a hallway with a display at the end.Interact with the displayto get aYang Fish Pendant, the Artifact collectible from this room.
Lock Passwords
Switch to the male lead’s side and head to the rightmost part, where there’s a hidden glowing spot on the wall.Interact with the glowing spotto prompt a lock to appear. Input this code to unlock it:7294.
Switch to Rosa’s side andinteract with the doorto prompt a lock to appear. Input this code to unlock it:6183. Once you’ve inputted both passwords, you’ll automatically exit the room and unlock the next one.

Wuxuan room puzzle solutions
The third room is called Wuxuan. Here, you need to interact with certain objects and pick the element they correspond to. However, you’ll only be prompted to pick an elementafter collecting the corresponding clues. So we recommend first exploring the room byinteracting with all objectsand then answering the questions after.
Rosa - left side
Switch to Rosa’s and head to the left side of the room.Interactwith the following objects to solve the puzzles:
If the pillar doesn’t give you a question, interact with all the clues (including the ones on the male lead’s side) first and try again.
Rosa - right side
Switch to Rosa and head to the right side of the room.Interactwith the following objects to solve the puzzles:
Male lead - left side
Switch to the male lead and head to the left side of the room.Interactwith the following objects to solve the puzzles:
Switch to the male lead and head to the right side of the room.Interactwith the following objects to solve the puzzles:
After completing all of the puzzles above, obtaining the collectibles, and interacting with all of the clues, you can proceed with the final puzzle in the room. Switch to the male lead andinteract with the silk screento move it away, then head forward andinteract with the doorto trigger the Jade Plate puzzle.

Tianxing room puzzle solutions
The fourth room is called Tianxing. In this room, it’s especially important that youinteract with all objects to obtain clues. You won’t be able to trigger the puzzles without doing so! Additionally, pleasedo the password lastas it will kick you out of the room. There are a lot of objects to interact with, so it can be a hassle to redo everything again.
Switch to the male lead and head to the rightmost part of the room tointeract with a chest. This will trigger a Mechanical Lock puzzle. You need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color.Hold and draguntil you’ve created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact paths you can use.
Completing this puzzle will reward you with theSilk Pouch.
Dragon Pattern Jade puzzle
Switch to the male lead andinteract with the Jade displaysto trigger the Jade Pattern Dragon puzzle.
If you’re unable to trigger this puzzle, you need to interact with more clues, especially on Rosa’s side. There are a lot of objects to interact with, so you might have missed one. Consider double-checking the display table on the bottom right corner of Rosa’s side of the room (pictured above).
You need topick the genuine dragon-pattern jadebased on the clues you collected. They are presented at random, but you can look for the following characteristics:
Selecting the correct one will merit you theDragon Pattern JadeArtifact, which is the collectible for this room.
Switch to Rosa andinteract with the doorabove the Guqin to trigger the password puzzle. If you can’t trigger this, interact with more objects to collect clues (including the male lead’s side). The password is8472. Once you’ve inputted it, you’ll automatically exit the room and unlock thefinal Challenge room called Yibian.
