To most casualApex Legendsplayers, the reticle color may be something that can easily be overlooked. But once you fiddle around with the settings and find the endless colors you’re able to change it to using the saturation slider, it can be difficult to figure out which will work best for you right off the bat. We’ve listed our personal best Apex reticle color and a couple of others for you to consider.
The best reticle color in Apex Legends
Green(0 235 40) is what we consider the best reticle color in Apex. It’s the most visible reticle, even on maps with mostly grass like Habitat 4. By nature, the human eye perceives this color best. You can tweak it to a darker or muted hue to make it more translucent for better aim, even in long range.

Other great Apex reticle colors
Of course, if green isn’t to your taste, you can always choose another color. Below is a quick list.
Yellow: 250 255 45
A basic yellow shade pops out nicely, which helps you easily target any enemy within your line of sight. You may need to use the saturation slider to make it as bright as you can so you do not lose it on maps with snow and lava.

Blue: 65 75 255
For long-range shots, ADSing, and even in close combat, blue is the perfect color. It is hard to miss yet it still gives you the transparency you need for seeing enemies through. you may make it slightly brighter to make it easier for you to see even on maps with lots of water.
What to take note of when using the pale blue reticle:
Pink/Magenta: 255 20 195/255 0 255
For seasoned players who would like to switch it up, pink is your perfect go-to reticle color. It also clearly stands out on any map, so it’s a good pick even for beginners. If you prioritize your long-range shots, you should tone them down to make them appear a bit more translucent, which helps for a better aim.
Red: 235 30 0
While red also gives you good visibility on most maps, it can be an acquired preference. For seasoned FPS players, this shouldn’t be a problem. For casuals and beginners, red is a good reticle color to practice your aim. However, you may want to tweak it a bit as it tends to blend in the maps with lava.

White: 255 255 255
You can never go wrong with just a basic white reticle. It’s the easiest reticle color to set, as you can simply slide the saturation bar to the farthest right. However, if your eyesight is not as good and you are more of a casual player, you may want to start with other colors instead when training your aim, as you may lose your reticle during intense combat.
