What is Fortnitemares?
Fortnitemares is Fortnite’sHalloween-themedevent that happens each year. It will include new content for players to enjoy, and while we don’t have any official idea of what that will be, there have been rumors and leaks to give us an idea.
HYPEX, a well-known leaker of Fortnite content, tweeted some information that gives us an idea of what to expect. This includes aHalloween Boss, which has been codenamedFreakyand will be able to summon creatures while you fight it. It will also drop a new mythic weapon and a pumpkin launcher. HYPEX also leaked that Fortnite would add anew ammotype calledPhantom Ammo.
Outside of these leaks, you can assume that Fortnite will add new seasonal andthemed cosmeticsto go with Fortnitemares and new points of interest changing the map.
