Illusory Murals appear in pairs all over the Sumeru desert at night. If you touch all 10 Murals in five locations, you’ll get five Common Chests and a Wonders of the World Achievement calledBeyond the Shadow of Time. To start, you must have access to theSumeru desert, and verify tochange your in-game time to night(18:00 to 6:00).
All Illusory Mural locations in the Sumeru desert in Genshin Impact
There are five locations that you need to visit withtwo Illusory Murals each. You need toTouchthe Murals by interacting with them anddefeat the enemiesthat spawn to receive a Common Chest reward (per location) and get the final Achievement. All of the locations areabove ground, and you can complete the objective in any order.

Illusory Mural #1
Head to the building northeast of the Sobek Oasis to find two Illusory Murals on the northern face of the ruin. You must interact with each Mural toTouchthem, prompting enemies to spawn. Defeat the enemies to loot a Common Chest.
Illusory Mural #2
Upon heading to Khaj-Nisut, verify toplunge to the very bottom, as the area is filled with floating buildings. The Illusory Murals are located on the front and back of a broken wall. You must interact with each Mural toTouchthem, prompting enemies to spawn. Defeat the enemies to loot a Common Chest.
Illusory Mural #3
We recommend using the Teleport Waypoint at the entrance of the Dune of Magma as it’s the closest one above ground. From there, head to the building circled in the image above to find two Illusory Murals. You must interact with each Mural toTouchthem, prompting enemies to spawn. Defeat the enemies to loot a Common Chest.
Illusory Mural #4
This Illusory Mural is located in adjacent walls of a broken structure beside theGarden of Endless Pillars. You must interact with each Mural toTouchthem, prompting enemies to spawn. Defeat the enemies to loot a Common Chest.
Illusory Mural #5
The location of the last two Illusory Murals is pretty straightforward. Head to the Teleport Waypoint in The Dune of Elusion, and you’ll immediately spot the two Murals. You must interact with each Mural toTouchthem, prompting enemies to spawn. Defeat the enemies to loot a Common Chest.
