God of War Ragnarok is full of difficult puzzles for players to complete and tricky collectibles to find. The Temple of Light is one of the first truly difficult areas that will give completionists some trouble. There arethree Legendary Chests,one Nornir Chest, andtwo Oden’s Ravensin this location. It is important to distinguish that this guide is forthe Temple of Lightand not Alfheim as a whole.
All Legendary Chests in The Temple of Light in God of War Ragnarok
There are three Legendary Chests in the Temple of Light for players to find.
Legendary Chest #1
The first Legendary Chest is located off the side of the main path. It can be found shortly after Tyr wall jumps for the first time. The image above shows players where to jump down, as you can easily miss it. Once on the lower level, players should walk forward and turn left to go down to an even lower level, where the chest will be located in a small alcove.
Legendary Chest #2
You can find the second Legendary Chest off the side of the main path. It is important to note that, in the image above, the doorway in front of Kratos will be blocked the first time it is approached. This will let players know they are in the correct location.
Once Kratos jumps down to the lower level, turn him around and go through the doorway shown above. Pull on the chain in front of you to elevate the Twilight Ore, hold L2 and aim at the ore, once the axe reflection goes blue, press R1, and leave the axe where it stays. Now release the chain, then recall the axe. Drop down, and open up the chest.
Legendary Chest #3
You can find the third Legendary Chest as players walk down a bridge-like path shortly after the second. You can easily miss the location since it is off the side of the route. To get to the chest from here, players will need to slide down the wall in front of Kratos and then wall jump until they reach the platform shown on the left side of the image above.
When on the platform with the Twilight Ore on the chain in front of you. Swing the chain to the right using your Blades of Chaos. Quickly change to your axe, and aim it at the ore until the reflection turns blue, then throw it. It’ll bounce off and hit the light crystal, allowing access to the Legendary chest by heading to the left of this platform.

Where to find Odin’s Ravens in the Temple of Light in God of War Ragnarok
There are two Odin’s Ravens in total for players to hunt down in the Temple of Light.
Odin’s Raven #1
The first Odin’s Raven is found in the same lower level players will find Legendary Chest #1. This Raven will be down a corridor to the right when players jump down into the area.
Odin’s Raven #2
The second Odin’s Raven can be found on the upper levels of the Temple in a room with a massive beam of light shooting up through the center. In this room, if playing along through the main story, Atreus will remark, “Brighter than I remember,” and at this point, players will know they are in the right location.

Opening the Nornir Chest in the Temple of Light can be very confusing at first, and even once players discover the key, the real challenges sets in.
