When you first start playing the game, you will find some chickens roaming insideThe Conservatory. Once you’re ready to explore, head east to theRainbow Fieldsregion. This is where you’ll come across many chickens during the initial hours of playing Slime Rancher 2. Specifically, you can find four kinds of chickens in this area:

Since chicken is food for various slimes, it’s best to farm these inside The Conservatory so that you can utilize them more efficiently. In the open, chickens will get eaten by wild slimes, but you can keep them safe by placing them inside a Coop. A Coop can be built for 250 coins in an empty ranch plot. For the chickens to reproduce, you need at least one Hen Hen and a Roostro.
