Hunter Slimes are rare creatures found in the vast world of Slime Rancher 2. While they can eat all types of meat, their favorite food is the Roostrochicken. If you have been looking for these slimes, this guide will help you find them so that you may collect some Hunter Plorts for yourself.
Hunter Slime Locations in Slime Rancher 2
Hunter Slimes are specific toStarlight Strand, the same region where theFlutter Slimeslive. This island is located to the south of Rainbow Fields and can beaccessed via a portal. Upon exploring Starlight Strand, you’ll come across Hunter Slimes in the purple region as depicted on the map. However, the place where you can find them in abundance is at the southernmost shore of the island.

The most interesting thing about these slimes is that they often turn invisible for a short duration (see image). You will still be able to locate them as their eyes never vanish. If you are planning to keep Hunter Slimes at the ranch, make sure the Corral you use has high walls and is nowhere near a Coop. That’s because these are clever creatures and will break out to eat all your chickens.
