Puddle Slimes are a rare subspecies that spawn at specific locations in the Slime Rancher 2 world. While you may not stumble across one of these creatures during your initial playtime, there are areas in thenew islandswhere you can find them. Here’s how to get Puddle Slimes in the game.
Puddle Slime locations in Slime Rancher 2
Upon exploration, we have found Puddle Slimes at various locations in theStarlight StrandandEmber Valleyregions of Slime Rancher 2. A yellow circle marked these locations on the maps shown above. Keep an eye out forwater puddles and waterfallsacross the two regions.

Puddle Slimes prefer resting in water pools as their only diet is fresh water. Furthermore, these are shy creatures and stop producing plorts when near three or more slimes. They’ll evaporate if put out of the water for a short while. You can keep Puddle Slimes at the ranch and house them in a Corral, however, they will need a fresh water supply to survive and produce plorts.
