God of War Ragnarök includes a variety of chests for you to find and loot throughout the nine realms. The rarest of these are Legendary Chests. Where are the Legendary Chests in The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim in God of War Ragnarök?
There are two Legendary Chests for you to find in The Forbidden Sands. One requires a bit of puzzle-solving. The other can be found almost passively while completingThe Elven SanctumFavor.
The Forbidden Sands first Legendary Chest
The first Legendary Chest is located in a cave in the South of The Forbidden Sands. Reference the Map above for the exact location. To open it, you’ll need first to defeat the handful of enemies inside, then solve a reflection puzzle with two spinning purple glass plates. You first need to free the glass plate on your left bychaining elementsto burn the brambles with your Blades of Chaos. Then, use the spinners to position the two glass plates so that they are each other. Throw your Leviathan axe at the glass plate on the left at an angle to bounce off the plate on the right and clear the hive matter. you may then go loot your Legendary Chest.

The Forbidden Sands second Legendary Chest
You can easily find the second Legendary Chest in the Elven Sanctum in the north part of the Forbidden Sands. It’s just past the ledge you need to grapple to climb. Just remember you’ll have to faceThe Mavento leave with any of the loot gathered during this Favor.
