For those who want to push their medieval fantasy profession to the next century or two, engineering is the way to go. It’s one of World of Warcraft’s oldest professions, and Dragonflight keeps with the trend of it being a tad more complicated than other professions. This is due to Engineers needing to make a lot of their own materials and actual recipes requiring several different crafted components. It’s like a profession pyramid scheme. As such, leveling to 100 is going to be tricky.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight Engineering Level 1 to 50

Going from Level 1 to 50 is much simpler than one would think. This is due to players only focusing on crafting yellow or orange items to advance the profession rather than crafting actual usable items. After all, why spend a lot of time and resources making one thing when you can make a ton of things and level up much faster?

World of Warcraft Dragonflight Engineering Level 50 to 100

Unfortunately, Blizzard has opted to try something new with professions in Dragonflight. Rather than have trainers supply recipes for the back half of leveling, recipes must be acquired from random drops, dungeons, and rep grinds. This can make leveling tricky. However, Engineers have a leg up due to how in demand they are. We recommend using the Crafting Orders system to level up from 50 to 100. This will keep you supplied with all the materials while leveling your craft. It’s almost criminal at how easy it is!
