2K Sports has announced WWE 2K23 with a trailer highlighting wrestlers, Showcase Mode, and the different editions available. While not much is known about other game modes, the announcement gives players a preview into the Showcase Mode superstar, John Cena.

Although not much has been revealed about gameplay features, WWE titles in the last few years have gone through improvements and received new features each year. Last year’s showcase mode allowed players to control Rey Mysterio in iconic matches throughout his career. Showcase Mode in WWE 2K23 has a little twist. Instead of playing as John Cena throughout his career, you will be able to play as the legendary opponents he has faced.
The pre-order bonuses and edition contents confirm that MyFaction will be in WWE 2K23. MyRise, Universe, and the new War Games mode will also be available in WWE 2K23.

The release date for WWE 2K23 isMarch 17, 2023. Players who purchase the Deluxe or Icon edition can play on Jul 12, 2025.
